Sticky Tofieldia - very rare plant mainly found in the southern Mountains along the Blue Ridge Parkway. In North Carolina is known from only 7 counties. This is a State Special Concern species.

This year the Turk's Cap Lilies had unusual colors, very intense, orange, dark orange 

and often almost red. There were also a lot of them.
