Baby robins in our garden...

In our little garden, I noticed a pair of robins building a nest.
In a pair of robins, the male brings nesting material to his female partner as she builds the nest. The female builds a nest with mud as the base and lines it with grasses, twigs, and other plant material. They build nests on branches or ledges.
Female robins lay only one bright blue egg a day and usually lay three or four eggs. Robin eggs have a beautiful blue color without spots or streaks (unfortunately I missed that time).
One day I noticed that the nest was filled with a family of three robins and both parents were feeding their young. A pair of robins feeding a hungry family delivers 100 to 150 meals a day to the nest. Each robin can eat its weight in insects, worms and berries throughout the day.
