Spring walk in small town...

A spring stroll through the streets of a small town in North Carolina.

Diamond Rush - a family owned jewelry repair and design business, as well as watch and battery related services. You enter this place stopping on old watches, batteries or even old jewelry (I noticed a camee brooch embedded in the entrance). It reminds me a bit of my visit in the gardens of Chatsworth House where I was sitting on the money.

There are white squirrels in the trees (not real) but if you look around you will see real squirrels running around.

On the neighboring street there is another interesting store: A Blast from the Past- and in front of the store - a beautiful metal bench - a butterfly. The shop offers a reproduction of clothes from 1880-1950. They also supply their clients with vintage balls, weddings and tea parties. It's also a gift shop - there's some home decorations, stained glass windows and fresh fudge ...

In one window of the shop window there were the Easter time decorations.

The second display window had a different decoration - reminiscent of decorations during the New York Christmas season.
