Edge of the Cedars State Park Museum is an ancient Native American archaeological site in a town of Blanding in Utah with a collection of ancient Pueblo artifacts.
In this park there are some interesting sculptures, among them Sun Marker sculpture which depicts one of the archaeoastronomy rock art sites. At sunset on the winter solstice a thin, vertical beam of light perfectly pierces the center of the spiral.

Blanding, first known as Grayson, was settled in the late 19th century by Mormon settlers. The town changed its name to Blanding in 1914."... when a wealthy easterner, Thomas W. Bicknell, offered a thousand-volume library to any town that would adopt his name. Grayson competed with Thurber, Utah (renamed Bicknell) for the prize. Grayson was renamed Blanding after the maiden name of Bicknell wife, and each of the towns received 500 books."

Blanding, na poczatku znane jako Grayson, zostało zalożone przez osadników Mormonów pod koniec 19 wieku . Miasto zmieniło nazwę na Blanding w 1914 r. "... gdy bogaty Easterner, Thomas W. Bicknell, oferował bibliotekę liczacą tysięc ksiażek dla każdego miasta, które przyjmuje jego nazwisko. Do nagrody konkurował Grayson i Thurber (przemianowany Bicknell ).
